Fifa 11 Ultimate team: Some of the best players to buy for your bronze team.

As i've said many times in my previous hubs my bronze team is a huge part of my Ultimate team experience. If you have a bronze team with 100 chemistry and bags of pace then they can be a real threat to most teams and in turn earn a few hundred more coins than your number 1 gold team would in the same fixture. In this hub i will give you a list of some of the best bronze players that i have come across while playing this years Ultimate team installment on ps3. I won't give you a price guide for each player as it's very hard to do with this level of player in my experience. Bare in my mind though that these are what i personally have come across when i have been looking so there will no doubt be great bronze players left out of the list. Goalkeepers
When looking for a goalkeeper i always look for one who is decent in all departments. For instance, I don't like to have a keeper who has great reflexes but terrible handling. So these players are decent all round keepers for the bronze level:

DEFENDERS
When looking for full backs pace is probably the biggest factor in my decision. I also consider important when buying centre backs but as of yet i haven't seen a bronze centre back with pace over 80. I'm sure they are out there and i'm sure a lot of you have seen them but i certainly haven't.

MIDFIELDERS
Bronze midfielders don't tend to have great passing ability. A passing attribute of 70 or over for a bronze midfielder is considered good in my view so if i find a CM with that ability then i'll normally take him. Obviously when picking CDM, defending is the most important ability along with pace in my opinion. With CAM i look for pace and dribbling more than anything else but this is just my personal preference. For wide midfielders (LM and RM) i consider pace, and dribbling when signing them. Passing ability is a bonus.

Right so down to the best bit, Attackers. This category includes strikers, Centre Forwards and wingers. For strikers i look for pace, pace and more pace. Obviously shooting and heading can be a big part of a strikers game but when they have bags of pace they can cause so many problems and tend to get more than their fair share of chances anyway. I tend to look for pace and heading ability in a Centre Forward although i very rarely use them in all fairness. Dribbling ability and pace are the obvious choices when looking for a winger of course.

yes i think so to with good chemistry its vital for those bronze tourneys with good payouts.
I use my bronze team in other tournaments too against 4 or 5 star teams. Tougher games but bigger payouts.

John Ostemobor, RB, Sheff Wed. Is a rather pacey but poorly rated bronze.
A Great player list. I founda n efficient way to find bronze players is to set up a Career Mode, go to the transfer section and search players of lower leagues by attributes. Write down any potential candidates and search in UT.

I know this is goin to sound crazy but i swear to god im in shock , i took up your advice on this playin with a bronze team and buildin ur squad up slowly and i bought that striker odejayi for 200 coins and used all his contracts up and decided to sell him , i just put him at 150 start price with no bin. he sold for 4000 with no contracts :O
Fuller, lol yeah, was a great day for Hartlepool, even though we lost the next round to West Ham, 2-0 I wont even go there with the goals, lets just say it was a very controversial match :P

james k: Ha ha, it's suprising isn't it? Some people don't realisr the value in good bronze players, especially ones with pace over 80 so they sometimes put them up for 200/300 coins BIN. I've managed to get mcnamee and kabba for 200 and 400 BIN respectively in the past and sold both for 10k.
Azza101: As i recall matey you deserved the win though. You wanted it more than us. I remember we even ended with rory delap up front for some bizarre reason ha.

james k: Well at least you're in the know about these bronze players now. A lot of poeple completely disregard them and sell them off for peanuts and because there isn't as many for sale as gold players (mcnamee is often very hard to get hold of) you can ask for a big price when selling them on as people such as myself like to build a good bronze team. For instance, I'm just waiting for ephraim (QPR) to come on the market for cheaper as the only one up at the minute is starting at 12k. I'm actually tempted to give in and buy him as he's all i need to complete my all english team and he's the first one i have seen on the mraket for about 3 days.
yeah well im really only playin with this bronze team to make more coins and build up a good solid gold team, yet since your so close to havin that perfect team i would invest in ephraim for 12k. plus you'd be able to sell him on in the future for more or less same money.
