Fifa 11 Ultimate Team: The best bargain signings for the PS3 version (with auction photos)

If you're anything like me then you will currently be engrossed in Fifa 11 Ultimate team. It's quite simply the most addictive game i've played for years and is sometimes impossible to drag yourself away from (i'm having withdrawal symptoms as a type this) You can even trade on your laptop now with EA's new Web App so it eats up even more of my life than it did before.
In the week that it's been out i've been wheeling, dealing and learning as much as i can. In this hub i'm going to share with you the best bargain players that i have come across so far on the PS3 version.
Over a period of 7 hours i merely observed and studied the UT market without buying or selling (sad i know). This was to try and find who the best players are to buy for cheap and sell for a profit. I have included photos which although aren't of the best quality as they were taken with my phone prove that these players can earn you plenty of coins if you're patient.
So here goes. These were my findings in the hunt for a bargain.
Nani: (Portugal) LW - Man Utd
I found that you can normally pick Nani up for 16,000/17,000 coins and get around 22,000 when selling him. A nice cool profit of 5/6,000 coins if you have the money to buy him or get him in a pack like i did the other day.
Pepe: (Italy) RM - Juventus
Some of the players on the list don't make as much as others but if you have 3 or 4 of them then it all starts to add up. Pepe is one of these players. He can be picked for 400/500 coins and be sold for 1000/1200.
Stilian Petrov: (Bulgaria) CM - Aston Villa
Petrov is one player i've made quite a few coins from. At one point i had 7 up for grabs on the trade pile. If you can get him for anything below 700 then he's worth it as he can normally fetch 1200 from buy now.
Diego: (Brazil) CAM - VFL Wolfsburg
I was lucky enough to get Diego in a premium gold pack and he sold for 9,500 coins. As these photos show he can be picked up for around 5000 on occasions so if you get the chance then snap him up at that price.
Danny: (Portugal) CAM - Zenit St Petersburg
Danny is a strange one. He's got an overall of 82 and great stats but he can be picked up for anything between 2000 and 8000 coins. There is definately a profit to be made if you get him at the right price. I sold him for 4,500 but i wish i'd have hung on for more.
Jenas: (England) CM - Tottenham Hotspur
Jenas is one that you have to be patient with when you have him. You can quite easily pick him up for under 500 coins and i have been getting 1000 from buy now when selling him back on. He doesn't always sell first time but he does sell given time.
Martin Petrov: (Bulgaria) LM - Bolton
The other Petrov has also been making me a steady income of coins over the last few days. I tend to buy a few of this card and make between 200 and 400 profit on each one. Easy money.
Diawara: (Senegal) CB - OM (Marseille)
Can be picked up for anything between 500/600 and 2000. Very erratic in how much he goes for. Worth bidding for if he's cheap.
Gourcuff: (France) CAM - OL (Lyon)
If you can get Gourcuff for under 10,000 then you're onto a winner. Can be sold for between 14,000 and 16,000 usually.
Sturridge: (England) ST - Chelsea
Another one that i have been doing quite well out of. Sometimes he's available for 500 and other times people are fighting it out to get him for 2000.
Juan: (Brazil) CB - Roma
Last but not least is Roma's Juan. Buy for a couple of thousand and sell on for 2000/3000 profit. Job's a good un.
So that's 11 players that i followed through a 7 hour period and they were the results. There are so many bargains to be had out there if you look for them.
If you can get Arshavin for under 30,000 coins then you have got a good deal, or Izmailov (Sporting) for around 400 you can normally sell him on for 1000 just as you can with Derbyshire (Birmingham). I personally think the key to whole thing is patience. If your player doesn't go the first time then don't panic and start dropping the price. Just because he doesn't go in that auction doesn't mean he won't the next time you put him up. For example one day i couldn't sell Petrov (Aston Villa) quick enough for 1200 coins (I think i shifted 5 at that price) but the next day people weren't even willing to bid the initial 900 coins that he was up for.
Other players who are worth buying to bulk up your squad are players like Niang (Fenerbahce) who's a brilliant all round striker and can be bought for 2500 coins quite often. Another great all round striker is Kenwyne Jones (Stoke) and can always be bought for 2000 or lower. Great in the air and fast. Mikel from Chelsea is another bargain for between 2500 and 3000 on most occassions, or Hleb (Birmingham) for a similar price or even Etherington (Stoke) for around 700 coins. One that always baffles me is why people pay more for someone like Bojan (Barcelona) when there is just as good in his position who are often cheaper like Jovetic (Fiorentina) and Nihat (Besiktas)
Remember that The Ultimate team market is an ever changing place so the prices i have put in this hub are never a guaranteed thing. Just to clarify again, the photo's in this hub are not players that i have bought and sold. They are just auctions that i have followed throughout the day.

Don Hussein: Danny seems to be going for a bit less just lately although his price seems to have been all over the place from day one. I tended to pick him up for about 2000 and sell him on for 4000/4500. I haven't actually sold him in the last week though but i did see one go for 5500 a couple of days ago. That said the average seems to be around 3000 at a guess. Have a check through Warchilds hubs too mate. Some cracking tips on there.

He's right mate, that's the only way you can really judge what a player will go for. I'd be tempted to with a start price of 4000 and BIN of 5500 if i was you but that's just me. Thanks for reading

Aaronfoo: I checked to see what a few went for today and the 2 that i saw that sold went for 3,000 and 4,500 so i don't think you have done too bad mate. Thanks for the kind words.
haha alright, yesterday i saw Donovan people sell 3,500 and deal complete. do you think this player can sell more than 10k above?
Aaronfoo: 3500 ssems a really good deal to me. I think you could normally expect to get between 5-7k but i have seen a few up for BIN of 10,000 so i wouldn't be suprised to see him go for that now and again.

Now i know you have definately got a bargain with Gourcuff as he's one i trade quite a lot, you'll most certainly make a profit at 7k. I have been getting no less than 11k for him just lately. He doesn't seem to be going for anything above 13,000 though at the minute. Good luck mate

Aaronfoo: Just don't panic. I'd be amazed if you don't make at least 3k profit with gourcuff. Sometimes they don't go the first time you put them up. The market is still a little slowish too.
@aaronfoo i wasnt being horrible my friend its just i dint keep all the prices in my head for every player,i have to do research too so thats the best way to find out,best of luck!!
Fuller: so far that's the result i got the most easiest way to sell is Juan and Danny. Gourcuff and Raul Albiol a bit hard to sell. i will keep waiting. =) thanks.

Don-Hussein: Just had a quick check for you. The 2 that i saw that were sold were for 400 coins and one at 1950 BIN but it is 12.50AM as i type so it's probably not the best time to find out his true value. Most seem to be up for a BIN of 2000 if that helps mate.
i spend 2 hours check those people to buy Gourcuff player(for PS3).
yesterday - 9,250 deal complete
today - 8,500 deal complete, most cheaper 5,900 deal complete.
My Raul Albiol sell BIN 4,250 deal complete and Gourcuff still pending start 9,000 BIN 11,000. My total coin 15,910 not enough coin to buy Van Der Vart they complete sell around 17,550 i saw the most cheaper. not enough coin =(. any suggestion which player easy to sell out (HOT CARDS)?

Aaronfoo - I'm suprised gourcuff only went for that price as i've sold about 3 this week at 11k. Just shows how unpredictable the market can be though. The time of day always has a bearing on how much a player will go for. As warchild says in his hubs peak time is normally between about 6pm and 8pm (GMT) Still at least you have made a profit.
I don't really know who to tell you to buy, all i can say is Marchena (villareal) has been selling well for me just lately being picked up for around 1000/1300 and sold for between 2750 and 3500 but i can't guarantee you anything. Also i got hold of Adebayor this week for 8,950 and sold him for 13,950.
PS3 player: Basing this on what he is up for as BIN, the lowest i've seen is 43,500 and the highest is 59k but there is quite a few listed around 48-49 so i'd be tempted to put him up for around that. I will have a little look at what he goes for and let you know later.
Same goes for pato. His lowest BIN is 23,000 and highest is 30k. I can't promise you anything though, i can only have a quick look at what they are up for so don't have a go at me if he doesn't sell for what i have said.
Adam Johnson at around 5k normally sells for 7.5k and as said above Marchena and Adebayor have done well for me lately. That's just me though. What works for me might not work for you.

ok around 6 - 8 pm? i'm from Malaysia (Asian) my time now is 6.20p.m. where u from? so i can get ready to sell the cards around 6-8 pm (except asian time)
Aaronfoo: I'm from England so i always try and sell my players between those sort of hours U.K time so i think that's about 4am - 6am (your time) when you could do with your auctions ending. Again though i can't promise anything. By the way you're English is very good.

PS3 player: So far this morning i've seen Pato go for 18,500 and 23950 BIN. Seen a couple of Etoo go so far and they were for 38,500, and 40,500. Could be better checking what they go for in peak time later though. Hope this helps

ps3 player: Just seems to go like that from time to time mate. Maybe it's the release of Black ops or maybe it's something else i don't know. I'd personally be disappointed if i get lower than 45k for Etoo as there are plenty up for sale for more than that. Again, i can only say it how i see it. PS3 player: I know what you mean mate i'm struggling to get rid of a few myself. I finally managed to get rid of the 2 arshavin's last night but only made a slight profit. I might just deal in a few smaller players until things settle down again. Riera has always sold well for me, and for some strange reason ngog too. As it says in the hub i've also had quite a bit of luck with petrov and sturridge but i'll have to see what the score is with all of these first as i haven't bought any of them in the last week or so.
I saw plenty of etoo and pato cards up for sale yesterday but the majority went unsold so don't worry you aren't on your own. Just keep sticking them up and hope for the best at the minute. As i say i aren't an expert though so don't blame me if you take my advice and it doesn't work. I tend to have the best luck with selling my players between 6pm and 10pm

Don-Hussein: With what they are selling for at the moment then no, but there is nothing saying that they won't be selling for more tomorrow as the market is an ever changing place. I've bought plenty of items that i have had to cut my losses on before so don't worry about it. Why not try to get a profit at first maybe 4.5k BIN and see if it sells? Good luck anyway buddy.

ps3 player - Based on the ones i watched:
Bale seemed to sell comfortably for 15/16k
Pato was selling for between 20/23.5k
Hulk for between 8 and 11k
Ferdinand sold for 17.5 and 18,750 which seemed very cheap to me
Yaya Toure sold for between 6 and 8.5k, again seemed really cheap to me.
This was over a 2 hour period. Also a lot went unsold at the prices above but all i can do is tell what i have found, it's up to youn what you do with the info. Good luck

Yo dude.. the mostly easy to sell is Van Der Vart try to sell around 18,000 - 21,000. make sure u have to buy VDV 15,000-16,000. u will make a profit too. better then nothing =p

If you can pick Julio cesar up for around 20k like ps3 player has then he seems to sell quite regularly for around 24-26k. I managed to pick Krasic (Juventus) up for 11k last night and sell him on for 15,500 20 mins later so maybe that one could work for you too

Aaronfoo: Maybe it's Gourcuff's preferred formation that is putting people off? Like i say he is one of my biggest profit makers. Perhaps you could try to get rid of him by offering him as part of atrade for another player? Good luck with him anyway matey.

Van persie as a CF seems to be selling for 30-34k. Van persie as a ST is up on the market for between 37 and 44k but there is only 6 when i just looked so if you have one i would consider putting him up for 44k.

Well Bale didn't sell for me then Aaron so i might have to rethink my price for him. I bought him 13,950 so i'm confident of making a profit but maybe not as much as i first thought. Also don't forget that there is a 5% selling fee that you get charged every time you sell an item so if i do sell Bale for 16k i would only recieve 15,200. I don't know why they do it as it isn't even real money. Strange

Don hussein: Aaron struggled selling Gourcuff too. It's suprising me to be honest as i have done very well off him just lately, but i suppose it shows you just how unpredicatable the game is. With a 41212 formation i would have thought he would be selling no problem with that price. I might even stick a bid in for 8.7k myself.

no really there are some wack jobs on it that start their bidding at 150 ? im using the app meself but im strugglin to sell players . i have a misimovic 83 and he wont even budge for 1500 :( also have a paul scholes up for sale but not a blade of an offer and i consider my prices low towards others! not a problem mate its a good read and u gave me an idea for nani i nearly have him for 2900 aswell lol
I got misimovic in a pack and couldn't get rid of him for love nor money so i know how you're feeling with that one.I think it could be his speed (or lack of it) that puts people off.
By the way don't pay too much attention to Nani's price in the hub as it seems to have dropped considerably since i wrote it (as have others), mind you if you get him for anywhere near that price you'll be laughing anyway won't you. Good luck matey.

That's crazy lukeyboy, What was he before? I have still managed to shift him a few times on ps3 in the last week for 9/10k. By the sounds of it though it looks like i've been quite lucky.
no not realy the prices on xbox are way cheaper than on ps3 i nearly fainted when seeing players putting in bids for ozil at 25k or there round about.

Don-Hussein- I suggest to buy what i write those 3 players it works and no need wasting your time to sold Goucuff ( for me i already buy 1 week ago and deal complete by yesterday night Fuller_legend i think u remember right? lol). I eventually managed to sell Bale for 17.5k. I personally don't pay any attention to the contracts when i buy a player, perhaps i'm silly not to. I'm sure there is people who do look though and buy on that basis but i'm not one of them.

Just a quick one for you mate. I turned robinho into a LM from a LF earlier and he sold for 15k. Robinho cost 8.5k , 150 coins for a LF-LW card, and 1000 for a LW-LM card. So overall he cost me 9650 coins and gave me 5350 profit. If you get the chance to do that then i recommend that you do as there isn't many Robinho LM about.

Yes mate, i changed robinho from a LF into a LM and it worked for me, 5.35k profit. I think it's because there isn't many LM Robinho's.

In fairness aaron i was extremely patient with the position card earlier. Most were going for 2.5k when i was buying so i was very lucky to get it for 1,000. Now them seem to selling for even more Like don-hussein says you do have to buy the 2 cards as you can't change straight from a RF to RM. Hope that helps mate.

In fairness lukey you can normally pick him up for that on ps3 if he's a LF or LW. It was only when i switched him to LM that i got 15k
Aaron: You should be able to sell him for a profit but don't forget about the 5% selling fee. For example, Selling him for 15k would knock 750 coins off your profit.

James k: There is no doubt that fast players are good sellers but martins doesn't seem to be going for a great deal. It seems you can pick him up for between 1800 and 3k so whether ther is potential profit there i don't know.

Kayjayy: I think you're on the right path with wilshere. I wouldn't buy in bulk straight away though. Just buy one to test the waters. Other cheap signings that tend to do well for me are petrov, sturridge, ngog and denilson.

All i can do is look at a few on the market though mate as the prices can change by the day (or by the hour sometimes) I can't guarantee anything as it's so unpredictable.

ecstacy: When a player plays well in real life (like berbatov when he scored 5 last week) then they could make the ultimate team, team of the week which then means a better version of that player is released for that wekk in gold packs (87 overall instead of 82 for berbatov) These are the cards that are in black, you have probably seen them. It's just easy to call the original ones 'out of form' as the black cards are 'in form' Hope that helped mate. I have probably confused you even more ha. Oh and it's no bother, my pleasure matey.

nice hub, I'd recommend santi cazorla RM villareal, ive managed to pick him up in a decent formation for 1-1.5k and put at 2.5k, 3.5k bin and i always sell, and often bin

B-satch: The prices seemed to have really dropped for those players mate. Earlier i managed to pick barry up for 750 coins BIN but i sold him for 1950 BIN so maybe you could do the same? It seems you can pick Mikel up quite easily for between 1 and 2k now, danny between 1 and 2.5k and bellamy between 1 and 2k, sometimes lower. Remember this is just me looking at the market at this current time though, no price is guaranteed.

Man-utd-1995: No guarantees matey but players that have been selling well for me just lately are scholes (bought for 1.5/2k and sold for 4.5k, pirlo (bought for 1.5/2.5k and sold for 4.5/5k) Also balotelli seems to sell for around 7/8k if bought for 5,000. Like i say though these have worked for me in the last couple of weeks, there is no guarantee they will for you. Also look for good preferred formations of the players you are buying as a 41212 or 433 etc can often add value to a player. Hope this helps.
I went out last night with these players in mind. Bought almost all of them (some more then once) and2 premium gold packs. Woke up this morning with 7500 coin. Do i have to be more patient or drop the prices? Thanks though, quite a few did sell easily.
Liam: Personally mate i try not to panic if a player doesn't sell first time, especially just lately. Don't use the above prices as a guide either. They were the players that sold well on that particular day. The aim of the hub was to show people it can be done. Don't take anything for granted basically matey.

Nasher-90: A guy on here, Aaronfoo has been doing quite well out of Julio cesar when picked up for 19/20k and sold for 24-26k. Bought one myself last night and he sold first time so it does seem quite a good deal. Also dzeko always seems to sell for around 10k, so if picked up for 8,000 or below then it should be a good deal. I have done alright out of Bent (41212)in the last week as well.I bought 2 for 9k each and both sold for 16.5k BIN. The ones without the 41212 formation were going for as little as 7k at times so the formation obviously made a big difference in this instance. Hope that helps. Don't take anything for granted though mate as i can't promise anything. I can only tell you what has worked for me just lately. Good luck.

Nasher-90. Yeah Dzeko should be a good deal. I sold one late last night for 10.5k. Rossi sounds like a good one too mate. All of the 41212 Nani cards that are up at the time of writing this are up for between 16/18k so it's like that could be a good one as well. If his position is LM instead of LW then i wouldn't be suprised to see you get 20k for him too. Good luck.

Also want to thank you again, i was incredibly silly for ultimate team, but your tips has got me up to 40.000 + i got some valuable formations card on the hand.

Anyway, i would like to know your opinion on some Dzeko buy i did. I bought him for 7.150c and his formation is 4-2-3-1. I was keeping an eye on the Dzeko's and i saw that there were a bid for 10.000 on the exact same player, with the same formation, so i took a shot and got him 3k cheaper.
Do you think it is a good profitable buy, or was the 10.000 bidder just a nut? :)

Mainge: No probs mate, i always try to answer everyone if it's possible. What has worked for me just lately is picking up ngog and wilshere (41212) for 500 or below and seling for around 1k. Similar profits can be made with players like sturridge and petrov too from personal experience. Hope that helps buddy, i obviously can't ever give any guarantees though.

I've decided to stop messing about now and try to build a really decent team. So far i've got reina in goal, ramos right back, essien and mascherano as CDM's, David Silva as right sided attacking midfeilder in a 4231 formation. To complete the team i need iniesta, vidic, evra, puyol, rooney, and villa so not much work to do ha ha. Oh and i've got del bosque as manager.
I've got at least 150k worth on the trade pile at the minute so hopefully i'll be signing iniesta and also vidic if i can find him cheap enough by the end of the day.
Finally completed my all english bronze team. Well chuffed with that.

There is no magic formula mate just keep doing what's working for you. You have to study the market and try to keep up with who is going for what, which is hard i'll admit. At the minute i have got a cluster of players i keep looking for who i'm confident will always make a profit for me. They include cassano, totti, milner, dzeko, scholes amongst others. You sound like you're doing well anyway

how much could you sell milner for and what would you be looking to buy him for? i actually was pretty lucky with getting vidic and ferdinand. i bought a gold players premium with fabregas in it and he just didnt work with my style of play.
Don-Hussein: Good team that is mate. If it was me, my priority would be getting a new left back and if you stick with the premier league theme then you might have to earn an extra couple of thousand to get someone like clichy. Or perhaps wait until you get an extra 5k and add v.der vaart to your midfield? It is possible to get reina for under 10k if you're thinking about a new keeper.
misaak8: I've been buying milner(CAM-41212) for anything up to 10k and selling him for 13k upwards. Also, You have had better luck than i've had with those bloody packs recently ha.
@ Fuller, was thinking about IF Baines, looking for a RWB i can make into RB and sell with profit
Don-Hussein: Yeah, baines would be good but i think you would need about 35/40k for an in form version.
How about Bosingwa for RWB to RB? It seems that you can pick him up for around 5k as a RWB and about 10k upwards for a RB.
what about gold upgraded black players, can you get any of them for cheap apart from naughton and evatt?

I'll be doing an updated one soon so watch out for that. I'll be honest the attribute thing is something i don't normally do so i don't know if it works when selling players. Misaak9: Tell me you ID and i will add you when i get a chance buddy. Dzeko 41212 can sell for anything from 15-20k from my experience. Personally i'd be looking for 4.5k to 6k for a CAM Scholes (41212) and for a CAM Cassano with 41212 you could be looking at between 10/15k as i'd imagine they are quite rare. It all depends on how much people want them at the time though mate. I've ased those prices on how much they are up for at the minute. Hope that helps matey.

Another great hub fuller, whats your opinion on rare silver cards as i have seen some go for as much as 30k?
@WWFC JAKE: players like ben foster go for around 20 odd k, in my experience with them you have to be patient when selling them because why would someone pay 4 odd k for a 72 card when they can get an 84.
Best thing to do is look for players with 85+ pace in a top league eg serie a or Bundesliga try pick them up for under 1k and then keep trying to sell them on for profit.
Good players are Ayoze and Luis morano(LW) who both play for real sporting in spain you can make 1-2k if you pick them up under 1k

Don-Hussein: I have been buying Benzema for 20k and below in a good formation i.e 442, 41212, 433 and selling for 24/25k if that helps. Jullio Cesar still seems a good seller too when bought for 19/20k and sold for 24-26k.

Wilde: Lot of choices matey. If you're looking for a spanish strike partner for him then an inform Soldado (84 ov) seems to go for around 45/50k from what i've seen. You could go for a premier league option of course which leaves players such as Anelka (around 30k, 85 ov), Van persie can be picked up for just over 30k as a CF and changed to a Striker. After that there is the likes of adebayor (83ov) and inform Gyan (83 ov) who can easily be picked up within your budget. Davis silva is an attacking midfielder but i agree that he would make a good striker if he was switched. Hope that helps buddy.

Personally though mate i think going for a few cheaper players is the best way to go. If you can get Milner for 5k or below he sells for 6.5k pretty easily, same goes for Vermaelen, and samuel. Like i say though these are things that have worked for me. Sounds like you are doing well if you are new to it and have got 43k in the bank though buddy.

thought it was about time i put my 2 pence worth in, at the moment i am doing a roaring trade in 3 players - Nani can be found on a BIN for around 9K if your willing to look for it, then always sells for 10K easy money and a quick turnaround. Same applies to Bale can pick him up for 9-10 K then sell straight away for 11-11,500 K and finally Ivanovic from chelsea can go for as little as 1K and almost always sells for 2-2.5K on BIN (but i would advise listing him on between 5 and 6pm. Im currently constructing a prem league team using only English and French players, will let you know how i get on.
misaak8: That's a very good point mate, i never give it a thought. For what it's worth i can't see anyone other than Man Utd winning the league this season.

ok i need alot of help i have run out of options. i had 2 squads, my main one was a la liga team and the other was a premier league team. i had each team as the other ones bench and would play a tournament with each. but i could really only improve one. so i sold my brit team when i ran out of options and now i have only 12 players and 4.4k left. my squad includes kanoute, higuain, borja valero, marcelo(lwb), sant carzola, capdevilla, garay albiol, a random rb, diego lopez and soldado on the bench (no informs). all are 41212 and idk what to do. plz help me
struggling to sell players. decided to just play matches and enjoy playing fifa as it originally was :) i love when my opponent gives up. i score more goals and have a lot of possession. add that to the total bonus i get of 1.50 and sometimes i get around 600 coins, not including the completion bonus.
@garrincha_fan7 one thing i did when i had only a few coins was trade. if that isnt your thing just try to buy gold players with overall ratings above 77 for 300 coins and discard for profit of around 12-16 coins each discard :)

well i would definitely consider getting a real RB as albiol is no good there mate, and as for jon obi mikel i had him for a while, but hes useless in a 442, i would recommend either milner or a CM Barry as replacement, rest of the team dont look too bad, is the Soldado an IF ?? cos if hes not i would looking at improving him too.

Abc123: I tend to stay away from really expensive players when trying to make a profit due to the selling fee being higher which obviously reduces the profit. I'd look at maybe 4 or 5 players for that amount personally. I've been getting hold of Bosingwa (RB not RWB) for around 6k and selling on for 8/9k just lately. Also been picking up Milner for 5k or below and selling for 6.5k. Cassano still remians a good seller for me if i can get him for 2.5k and sell for 4.5k. Hope that helps matey.

Anoach123: Welcome to the hub first of all mate. With 1000 coins i'd start looking at cheap premier league players like wilshere and sturridge. You can often pick them up for 400/500 coins and sell on for 800/1000. If you can find them with 41212 as their preferred formation then you can add a little bit more to that price too. Also, always keep your eye out for cheap rare gold players (the shiny ones) If you see one for 550 or below then snap them up as you can discard them for 600/650 coins. Good luck mate, i'm sure you will soon get the hang of it, just be patient and keep plugging away matey.
Don-Hussein: That schweinsteiger deal looks a very good one mate by looking at the market. Didn't see one on there for less than 20k BIN.
The promtion is worlds best 11 or something i think. I'm not even looking to be honest as i'll only get tempted and waste a shed load of coins on them. I never have any luck with packs.

@Don Hussein i would recommend Toure for CDM and Van der Vaart for CAM you could easily afford both with the cash you have, i would also think about replacing Kompany at CB cos he is rubbish lol
Don-Huseein: If it was me personally i'd get David Silva (85 ov). You can normally get hold of him for 28/30k. Then after you have got the extra 20k from what you sell on the market i'd probably go for Y.Toure (83 ov). Seems to be going for 9/10k at the minute although i have just seen one up for 6.9k. After that you have got money left to trade with and you can start building again. That's what i'd do anyway mucka.
Abc123: I don't think that's how it works mate. I think they have just put the worlds best 11 (according to them i assume) in packs and you just stand a chance (or not if you're me) of getting one when you buy them from the store. I'l be honest though i haven't properly looked into so i'm not the best person to be asking. I don't want to get too tempted by seeing who i could possibly get in one or i'll waste a lot of coins ha ha.

misaak8: Vermaelen (83 ov) seems to be going cheap at the minute (3.5/4k) I know this because i have been buying him and selling him for a profit. Ivanovic (82ov) can also be picked up for between 1 to 2k as well on occassions. If you're looking for better then you may have to pay 8 or 9k for someone like toure (84 ov) and then obviously beyond that you're getting into the big money again. I take it you want a premiership centre back mate?

@Abc one thing that I'm doing due to low funds is buying English players for 350 coins, like Zamora, johnson, sometimes Barry etc. then selling for BIN 550 coins. 175 coins profit from each one, fill you trade pile and you will be making a few thousand.
@Acb theres : Cassano Pick him up for anything between 1-2.5k sell on for 4.5 BIN
Miccoli buy for anything up to 1.5k sell on foor 2.5-3k BIN
Marcelo anything up to 2k again and sell for 3.5-4 BIN
Then theres cheap players like Etherington from stoke he sells for 600 odd and can be bought for 400 odd, Ramsey same again but he can fetch up to 800 and then theres sturridge he can be bought for 400 odd and can be sold for up to 1k.

@Fuller Actually pique is in LB which I thought might be alright since in other game modes he can play in RB. Also I was just looking through the Market for the highest rated players, and fortunately they seemed to result in a good chemistry from what I can figure. Good luck with Rooney and villa, I think rooneys something like 300,000 from my research! what's your team looking like at the moment?

I'm sure IF Jones would be good for your team as he's quite pacy and excellent in the air. Looks a bit overpriced to me though (25k at the minute). Again Dzeko would be good for your team but when he was at Wolfsburg you could get him for 9/10k and now he's up for 50k at Man City (same rating) so i'd be tempted to hold on a bit and see if his price goes down a little.
Chris: I think he means Cassano (CF) from Sampdoria. I have been doing quite well off him myself. Puyol seems a little slow for full back in my opinion. I suppose his positioning and general defensive ability probably helps though.

Well normally 2000 is good for johnson but his price has rabdonly dropped so at the moment 2000 is the very highest i would go and for vermalean anything up to around 2.5-2.75k

Abc123: ha ha. You can filter your search to get there mate. Maybe just pick one league. You could miss out on a few deals but it definately cuts down the time it takes to get there.

Abc123: I haven't done it a lot to be honest mate, mainly because of how long it takes to get there but everytime I have i have always got one or two bargains. Never got a daft one like rooney for 6k or anything like that but there always seems to be decent deals to be had. The best one i have got is the one in this hub. Dzeko for 1.25k, he sold for 10.5k.
ive been using the bronze pack method lately. buy a bronze pack and sell the contents 150 / 200 after you make some sort of profit discard the rest.
misaak8: Yes it definately works doesn't it mate, and the beauty of it is you could end up getting someone like kabba in there who will sell for big bucks too. It's a no lose situation in my opinion.

Abc123: Quite a few people (myself included) like to build a good bronze team mate so will pay quite a bit for good bronze players like Kabba, mcnamee, ephraim etc. Kabba in particular is an engish forward from barnet who's pace is 85, i've often seen him on the market for 10-15k. Abc123: I like the chalLenge of it though mate. I often prefer playing with a bronze team than a gold one to be honest. Don't forget that there are tournaments purely for bronze teams as well so you could always do with a good one to play in them.
misaak8: Really? I haven't seen these Winn cards yet. That's absoutely crazy for a bronze player but just goes to show what an important part of the game it is to some. I wouldn't ever pay that much but if i needed a player to complete my team i'd definately push the boat out a bit.

fj2650: How's it going mate? Don't worry you aren't the only one who has suffered just lately. The market seemed to go down bank overnight so i had to cut my losses on a few players. I can't really give you any info on who to buy as i haven't done hardly any trading for the last few days. I've been relying on the web app but that is down at the minute. I will definately give you a game sometime matey.
Abc123: I really don't know at the minute mucka. Haven't been able to get on ps3 as much as i would have liked and the web app is still down so i haven't done much trading. Sorry mate. You can never predict the 59th minute matey. Sometimes you could wait for an hour and not see one good deal but others you could get a few good ones in a short space of time. I'd definately recommend having a look though. I must admit i've never made 20k profit from the it but i've heard of quite a few who have.
Chris: I think it depends on what type of player you are mate. I'm not great at it personally so i like to have pace in the team, even then i'm not much better ha ha but if you like to play a good passing game or some other style then it could be worthwile to look for other more technical players and have your pace on the bench ready to change the game.

Sorry i haven't got back to any comments for a few days but i've been really busy just lately. Also i haven't really been trading any players since the market crashed so i can't tell anyone who's selling well as i'm a little out of touch with prices at the minute. Basically I decided to sell the players i had on the trade list and have just been buying packs with the funds. I got a great result yesterday when i found Villa in one, although i have probably paid for him with how many packs it took me to get him ha. Anyway, i'll keep up with the comments in the next few days and answer your questions if i can.

Chris: If i'm honest matey i wouldn't recommend ever buying packs as i opened over 20 before i got Villa, the rest were crap. They aren't worth it really but i was a bit out of touch with the market so i decided to just keep ploughing my coins into them and hope for the best. I aren't sure if there is a better time of day to buy them mate but i'd imagine there isn't.

@ abc123 there are loads at that price mate, good deal if hes going in your team, perhaps not to sell on, you might make a couple of grand but could take a few listings. I been trying to sell a Bale at 9000 for a few days, which i consider a bargain, then found they were ranging from 7-8 on BIN well annoying. I dont think there is a single 'good' deal to be had at the moment, its getting right on my tits.

Unless you're willing to risk a lot of money without anything definite in return, don't bother. You can spend 100,000s of coins and only get a 30,000 coin player. However there is a chance of one effort getting you a Messi, which makes it so attractive!

well my ultimate team is almost complete, will be doing a player list on here later. Its good enough now that when I lose I often find I have an inbox message along the lines 'man that team is awesome, how the hell did you lose with those players ...' well I can answer that easily, im 32 years old (reflexes arent what they were lol) and not very good at fifa lol I just love playing, and love trading even more.
Guy: I normally buy the premium gold packs (7.5k) but that doesn't necessarily mean they are better. When buying gold packs you really have to expect to get nothing and hope for the best. It's like playing the lottery really, you keep trying because there is always that hope of the jackpot (Messi,Ronaldo etc) but in reality it's just a waste of coins. The problem for me is i'm bloody addicted to them.

depends on formation, if you need a CM then buy Xavi, but as a CAM Iniesta is better, but in my opinion Kaka is as good if not better and only about 80K.

Hello Fuller, how is it going? first of all, thank you for giving tips for newbies like me to get around in UT. atm, i couldn't get crazy good deals like some people have (though i did get Van Persie on my first gold pack, sold for 18000). It seems now that players prices has gone down and contracts has gone up.

Sutty: Gourcuff price seems to have dropped a lot since i last looked but you could possibly still get 2.5/3k for him. Petrov only tends to go for between 500 and 1000, and i'd be looking to fetch 1/1.5k for danny unless he's got a preferred formation of 41212 then you can possibly get a bit more. Help: It's probably best to wait until the PS3 is back up after the update as i think they might be upgrading and downgrading certain players (for instance, Wilshere is supposedly going from a 75 to 80 ov) Don't know whether it's 100% accurate but i'm trying to get rid of the players i've got first and then see what this new upgrade brings later tonight. Hello people, im struggling abit on this FiFa UT, i have won 9 trophies upto now, but every time i go to make so money i will have to spend quiet a few grand on the contracts to make a few of my rubbish gold players like bridge, is there any way around this,? were i can get alot of decent contracts instead of buyin them when i win a tournament...? i dont really want to use the contracts that will bost 23 games because i think it will be a waste ?? when ill be gettin better players ssooon, thanks !

Eddie69 hey dude, it took me a while to figure out what to do with the contracts and i figured out that when u starting to play ultimateteam game u got noobi players and no money to spend on new because u have to pay contracts so.... because your a new player u have golden players but noobi one so if a player cost 300-500 and u like him and u dont want to replace him but he have no contracts- u put him on sell for starting price of 150 and for buy now for 500-650 so if he cost u 300 when u bought him with contracts and now he doesnt have any u can still sell him for the same price, and then buy a new one. its that simple!

@guy Well I buy packs and sometimes get silver players worth 10k to 20 k and I make 5k to 30k a day depends how long I go on and how lucky I am :) I just need to know what good players to get :)

scoty: normally you won't find managers in formations other than 442 and 41212 because that's what most people use and bother to change them to. you just gotta buy a training card.

I find it so hard to sell player's on the FUT Market (especially because i own a PS3, and everybody tells me that the market is better at Xbox).
For example, I tried to sell Fellaini and Van de Sar, both for a starting price of 1000(i bough them for that price) and a BIN of 2000, 1 hour later, the both didn't sell.
I've been reading some of your hubs, but I would appreciate if you cold give me some tips to improve my selling techniques.

The PSN will not take 4 months to fix.. It may take upto another 10 days or so or even only one or two. It depends on how big the problem is and how quickly they can fix it and also they said they're just aiming to fix the PSN so we can get on it as quickly as possible and once it's working they will fix the rest e.g. PS Home & PS Store.

Hello mate! Was reading this great hub again, as i restarted my ultimate team career! I was down to -50.000 profit, but in just 4 days i've made it to 40.000 which i believe is quite good. I did so, using bronze and silver player method, and i now feel ready to take the next step to gold players, so i was actually just wondering if you're still playing, and had some tips.
